Our comprehensive Project Management experience allows Flo-Mech to provide a complete solution for food processing and packaging needs. From pre-engineering studies through to factory installations and Health & Safety support, our clients projects are successfully implemented.

Engineering &
Design


Our Engineering & Design Team work to produce an optimised equipment design, line layouts and process flows - integrating all inter-connecting access walkways, utility pipework and supporting steelwork. Our in-house designed steelwork is subject to full static and dynamic stress analysis.

Innovation


The Technical Innovation Team offer our customers' Research & Development opportunities within: Conceptualisation, Engineering Design, Simulation and Testing Capabilities, Design of Experiments (DoE), On-Site Assessment and Design Validation.

Our Control & Automation Systems Team are able to offer complete software and electrical solutions including: Hardware and Software Design, Safety Standards, Advanced Control Systems, On-Off Site Support, Control System Integration and Project Management.

Sustainability


Our Energy & Sustainability Team has been leading the way in improving existing plant facilities throughout the world. Our support portfolio includes: Pinch and Data Analysis, Fundamental Design PFD, Computer Simulations Design, FEA/CFD, On-Site Assessment and Maintenance Services.

Compliance


Our Support Portfolio includes: Assistance with CDM projects, Principal Contractor duties for CDM, Tailor made training packages delivered on or off-site, PUWER risk assessments, Noise & COSHH assessments, Machinery assessments for CE marking, Machinery Directive compliance.

Our Support Portfolio includes: Process heating systems inspected and serviced (UK/EU/Worldwide), Service and support on Flo-Mech and associated partners ranges of equipment, Installation of heater/process safety systems and updating of existing systems for legislation compliance.
